I have a account on Winhost with the domain www.youredomain.com (not actual name). The DNS is managed by ZoneEdit and it all works ok. Now I also have another domain www.yourdomain.com (slightly different spelling) which I want to resolve to the first one. I have set up a CNAME in ZoneEdit to point to the first one, and when I tracert it resolves to it, but it seems to be blocked on Winhost somewhere and just displays the default page rather than the original web site. Is there anything special I need to do?
Did you set up a domain pointer for that CName in the control panel? The web server is only configured to handle the primary domain name, if you want to point another domain to the server, you'll need ot setup a pointer in the CP.
