I backed up the SQL Server 10.50.1600 database on my PC, uploaded it to my App_Data directory and tried to restore the data base. My uploaded file has the correct name, DB_9861_pandatest_backup.bak. I get an error message saying the restore failed and to contact support. Is it possible that this error is occuring because the version of SQL Server on PC is SQL Server 2008 R2?
The version of SQL 2008 you are trying to restore on our server is the R2 version. Unfortunately our SQL 2008 is the none R2 version. Thanks. Generating a script and running it on the hosted database works. Any chance that we will be able to publish directly to the hosted database in the future?
