Can I use my WinHost account to ping an address and notify my of failure?

I need to be notified by email if a certain IP address becomes unreachable. It would need to be pinged once a minute or so and email me when the address goes down and email me again when the address is pingable again.

Is it possible to do this with my Winhost account?

 

You can create a script that pings and sends email notification, but you can't set up a scheduled task to hit a page every minute. The maximum frequency is every 15 minutes (and note that only the Winhost Ultimate plan has the ability to create scheduled tasks).
