Hello, I have a Domain name registered on GoDaddy.com, and I am thinking of Hosting on Winhost for my website. On the instructions to transfer Domain names from GoDaddy.com, it requires to undo the Privacy for the Domain name, in order to transfer to Winhost. I also noted that it says on the Winhost FAQ that you can only provide the Whois Privacy service for domains that we register with you. My question is, how do I then make my Domain name Private once it has been transferred to Winhost? Can I do it on GoDaddy.com where it was originally registered? Or do I have to leave it as is without any privacy from Whois? Thank you in advance for your reply.
After you transfer the domain management to us, then you can purchase domain privacy from us. You would no longer need to deal with godaddy as far as that domain name is concerned.
