Using FFMPEG.exe

  1. Hi,

    I'm trying to add facility to convert video to mp3 in my website but ufortunately Winhost doesn't support the execution of FFMPEG.exe on the server.

    Is there any Is there any alternative solutions ?

    Let me see if I understand you. You want to host a website, that uploads videos, and then converts it to mp3? What exactly are you trying to do with your site?
     
  3. Yes, I'm able to do it in my local machine using ffmpeg.exe but not on hosted server.

    Try looking at this. You may have to purchase the license though and upload it to your applications Bin folder.

  6. I don't think I will be able to use their solution coz they depend on ffmpeg.exe as well, so it's gonna be the same problem (Server Permissions) I believe you should own your web server to apply that.

  9. I want to host a website that converts a video, and I'm using ffmpeg.exe. What are the reliable hosting services that supports ffmpeg.exe.? Please help.
