I'm new so I hope this the correct forum for posting this question. I just signed up last night and am in the process of moving everything from my current host. The FTP server name Winhost assigned is the same as my current server name so I can't use it. Is there a URL or other temporary name I can use for FTP until I close the other site down?
Yea, you can use the Secondary URL. You can find this by going in the Control Panel to the Sites section and select Manage next to your account. On the Site Manager page, you'll see the Site Info on the left hand side, which contains the Secondary URL that you can use to both test your site, and connect via FTP.
