I asked a q and got banned!

I asked a question in the 3rd party apps forum and less than 60 minutes later my account was banned permanently.
Care to clarify??

Well, at least you didn't take it personally.

I don't know what your post was, it's been deleted, but we don't generally ban people for no reason. We deal with a lot of spam here. Forum users never see 99% of it, but we have to deal with it. If your post looked like spam it would have been deleted and your user banned. If that happened and it wasn't spam, sorry. It was a mistake.

on a side note I use '911' as a suffix since 1999, 911 band was my fav back in the day, so don't get any ideas.
