I've been using Winhost since June of this year and I had my first support ticket experience last weekend. I was trying to install a new SSL cert on a site and I screwed it up. I submitted a ticket, within 5 minutes a support tech responded acknowledging the issue and within 24-hours they manually installed my cert and tested it to ensure it was working.

I wanted a no hassle Web Host for aspx web pages. I didn't want to have to fight with tech support to configure the directory structure, permission , sub domain, and email address settings. I did not want nor need to have my hand held nor be protected from myself. Finally, I did not want to have to pay through the nose for it. Winhost is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. In a word: FANTASTIC!

Assuming that my credit card doesn't show anything crazy I am very impressed so far.

I was able to:
sign up
register a domain,
load my website (DNS propogation is still in progress I assume),
register an SSL Certificate (I think it may be recommended to wait for the domain confirmation email next time)
register on the forum to get 2 answers:
1) SMTP alternative port 587; since 25 was saying it could not connect [Yay! email ISP is actually starting to try to combat spam]

I just moved my sites from GoDaddy to here and I am so happy with my choice! I have been dealing with them, their slow response to help requests and their painfully slow servers for more than a year now, ever since I removed my own T1 and servers. You guys have amazing support response time and so far I am thrilled with the speed of your system! My site is loading almost as fast as it did when I had my own servers!

I feel compelled to write a customer testimonial because Winhost is hands down the best windows hosting company I have had to pleasure of dealing with. I came over from GoDaddy with 3 DotNetNuke installations and 2 custom coded asp.net applications, running 9 domains.

I just got off the phone with GoDaddy tech support. I was not able to connect to my SQL Server database through SQL Management Studio. The support guy wanted to blow off the problem, blaming me or Microsoft. Under my steely gaze and withering questioning, he researched it and determined that there was a security update last week and remote connections to SQL Server databases are no longer supported.

My site works well by main domain name, but it doesn't work by IP address. Also I tried to make forwarding from my another hosting on this IP and it doesn't work too, the same problem as with IP address.
IIS shows the following error
HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found

But it works nice by regular domain name of my hosting. Why?

While I'm mainly a .NET/MSSQL guy, I do about 20% PHP/MySQL work, as well as converting clients over to the .NET world whenever I can.

Having MySQL here makes my work a bit easier -- and that's a good thing.
Even better, is that you actually listen to your customers.

I'll start off by saying that so far, Winhost has been mostly awesome.

Providing full FTP, IIS7 and Sql Management studio access makes life so much better than the other hosting companies I've looked at. The servers are relatively quick and they provide a fair amount of storage space and bandwidth. Their dashboard is very clean, and usually pretty quick to load; there have been times where it barely crawled along.

Another awesome feature is the site statistics reports tool, it runs...

I been with WH4L for about 7 years, was great at the begining and pretty much downhill for the last 3-4 years. I recently moved to this host from another windows hosting service. I am very excited about staying with Winhost. Beyond the features exactly fitting what I need right now, the one month bill cycle is right on the money! This allows me to check out the service then go to an annual payment plan if I like it. Or it keeps me on the web at a reasonable monthly rate. I haven't seen many doing that. Usually they will have an over-inflated monthly rate.

let me just say that again,

they actually have support!

I asked if I could run my own cgi programs and got a negative result, then I had a little sulk for a while then realised why, if I can't then no-one else can and therefore no-one can mess up the servers and therefore(2) the servers remain very reliable.

I'm in England and the servers are fast from here!

Migrating from a different web host service to Winhost.com was straightforward. I use BlogEngine.Net and ScrewTurn wiki, and they both migrated without issue. I didn't even need to adjust directory permissions. My Ajax controls came right up without any issues.

Email switch over was simple. All I had to do was create a couple of email accounts and my domain was up and running.

I can honestly say I was suprised, I recently converted my site from PHP to .NET using asp.net 3.5, ajax and sql server 2008, with quite a few custom user controls.

I was apprehensive of how long it would take to get everything up and running; however I was suprised that within an hour or so after copying files and transfering the data everything worked the first time and setup was hassle free.

I just wanted to say "wow!" I have been utilizing DNN for about five years and four of those years I had client sites hosted with a provider who "specializes" in DNN hosting.

Needless to say, the continued issues I had with the other hosting provider were absurd. The issues all led back to the fact they overloaded their servers with too many sites.
